Week 4 update of Micah’s charity ride

Micah Stanbridge has just passed the half way point on his bicycle ride across the USA. He has been pressing through Kansas where he faced days of a strong headwind. The only solace is that unlike the trek through the Rockies, the land in Kansas is mostly flat. He has just passed into Missouri which hopefully will be kinder to him.

Micah shares another story about a person with blood cancer. Micah reminds everyone of the importance of signing up as a stem cell and bone marrow donor.

Clariness has partnered with Micah Stanbridge to support his bicycle ride across the US. Micah is riding to raise awareness about blood cancers and blood disorders and the need for life saving stem cell transplants. Micah is raising money for Anthony Nolan, the world’s first bone marrow registry. The charity provides life saving support to people with blood cancer and blood disorders across the UK and beyond. Currently, there are 680,000 people on their registry of volunteer donors.

Micah’s goal is to raise £15,000 for the Anthony Nolan blood cancer charity. He has reached 43% of his goal! Let’s help him reach 100% before he reaches the finish line in Virginia.
